Albion Gate is one of Supremati’s interior-architectural projects that was designed for a London developer. Magda, founder of Supremati, was responsible for the creative direction in the redesigning of the luxury Hyde Park apartment, to make it a functioning and highly desirable property.
The two-bedroom, double en-suite flat is set in a lavish, historical art-deco building and this was the main inspiration that laid the foundations for Magda’s creative vision for the development.
This along with the elite Central London neighborhood meant that Magda wanted the final design to exude art-deco decadence, while also balancing this style with a simpler minimalism so that the property would appear comfortable, spacious and stylish.
To do this Magda incorporated lots of light stone, light wood flooring, mirroring and a light green palette that contrasted with dark woods, gold accessories and pops of color from statement pieces.
In the hallway Magda opted for Eccotrading’s dark oak console as the centerpiece for the room. The dark wood contrasted the white marble flooring, mirrored walls, and light sage wallpaper, however, also tied in perfectly with the bespoke doors leading into the living room.
The sophisticated shape of the console is simple so it also created this balance between luxury and minimalism that was at the forefront of the design direction of the project.
Eccotrading’s use of high-quality materials and exquisite craftsmanship also meant that the piece fitted well for the high-end apartment and developer. Together these elements helped make Magda’s vision a reality, piecing the whole project together.
